Condos in Denver area?

For those in the Denver area, how do you feel about condos as a rental?  It would be an opening for me to finally get back into real estate but I am concerned about:

*Prices being inflated (I know everyone thinks a crash is coming but the prices seem crazy)

*Possible changes to the defect laws (right now, any single owner can sue the builder) so few are building new units

Would love to hear some input on this.

@Luke F.

This discussion has been going on for years here in the Denver real estate community. Here are some old threads on the topic to peruse:

I think that little has changed with the condo market, and that as usual, you are likely to see less condo appreciation than the market as a whole, with a bigger risk of downside than investing in other types of property.

Of course, those who bought condos, like everyone else in Denver, over the past few years, are laughing all the way to bank right now with their appreciation.
