Want to get started in St Louis!

Hey folks,

I just started listening to BP and want to put my new knowledge to use. I want to invest or partner with some local investors in St louis to invest in real estate properties to start working towards my first cash flow. I work full time in a technology firm but will have time to work on this after/before work and during weekends. I also don't mind buying out of states and using a management company as well.

Looking for suggestions on what's the best way to start and make as many contacts with people - investors, wholesalers, contractors etc. Hope to hear from you folks and keep learning and putting the knowledge to use.
