Should I expect my realtor to assist me in repairs before selling

Before I list my house I'll need various repairs such as new carpet, a new sink, some new ceiling fans and fixtures in the bathroom and a fresh coat of interior and exterior paint. Generally speaking should I have the expectation my realtor should assist me (provide contractors, call them for quotes, etc)  as this is part of selling my house or does this fall on me as a homeowner?

Jared Beauchamp No, that's all on you. That said, I would definitely ask the realtor "what sells" in the neighborhood when it comes to things like fixture finishes, carpet color, quality, etc. If they're sharp they'll give you cost-effective advice that will enable a quicker sell (I always have doubts about more money). Odds are they also know contractors that you can get bids from but I'd also get at least one on my own.
