Choosing the location to get my house built

We are thinking of getting a contemporary house built. We are confused whether to purchase a lot where the prices of other houses are 100-150K lower than our house but the school ratings are very good, or to purchase a lot where the house prices are similar and school ratings are not so good. We don't have kids yet. We are thinking from the perspective of resale value. I really appreciate your opinion on this.
