Properties own by Housing authorities

Hey Guys I was wondering if anyone was able to get Properties owned by the Housing Authority and get these properties contracted to sell? I find tons of properties and some are owned by the Housing Authority and I wanted to know can we still successfully get these properties or should they be avoided. Hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction or has been successful with these type of properties.
