Selling and Buying Primary Residence

Hello Fellow Members, I am about to sell my primary residence and the profits that I will receive will later in the near future be used towards the down payment for another primary residence. And, my question is; where should I keep the profit money temporarily until the new primary residence purchase, in order to not face any taxes and have easy access to the profit money for the new home purchase?
