I purchased a property to flip and have to pulled permits for general rehab electrical, stucco, framing, plumbing and I am adding on another bedroom.
In order to get the project moving I used owner / builder to pull permits. In California state code say NO sales for 1 year. I will be selling in 90 days.
Has anyone had experience in this area? I plan on moving the permit to a contractor.
I would just call the city. Claim to be a confused homeowner, tell them your GC wants you to do this, and ask how it effects resale... See what they say.

@Loren Becker I know this is an older thread, but I was hoping you might share your experience pulling owner/builder permits. I live in the county and was wondering how difficult the permit process is.
