Roofstock Purchases - for investment only

Dan Jones
Posted

Hi,

On the rootstock Ts&Cs it says the property must be purchased as an investment. Does anyone know the reason behind that?

Also looking to understand the consequences of that. Does it meant it can then only be sold on for investment purposes, too? What if I find a buyer in 10 years that wants to use it as their primary residence?

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan.  After you close escrow you can certainly use the property as you wish.  If the tenant moves out at the end of the lease and you want to sell to an end user, move in yourself, or whatever you desire it is up to you.  Hope that helps.
