How long do you keep closing documents?

I am trying to declutter my files. There are many signed closing documents. I have scanned them into electronic versions. However, I wonder if I still need to keep the pages which have original signatures? Thanks.

I usually keep all of them. It’s just a folder for each property, and they can go into the attic/basement/whatever.

BUT, I would probably keep the note, mortgage, HUD-1, and deed copy.
When the mortgage is actually paid off, the deed and completed note are probably most important.

Though realistically, the dees recorded in city hall. I don’t see anything you really need in hard copy.
