FHA down payment assistance program
Hello bigger pockets family. Had a quick question regarding FHA loans. Generally those require a 3.5 down percent tagged along with closing cost etc. I've been reading about FHA for a while now and found that some bank or programs may even gove you the down payment but I hardly hear people talking about it. What's the upside and down side to that. I mean why use my money if a bank or whoever is financing the Loan Is willIng to gIve me the down payment AS WELL? ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE HELPFUL ON THE matter.
