Hi all. What are your thoughts on contacting sellers directly that have property listed with a broker/agent? Many times I read that going direct with sellers produces some of the best deals, but what if it's listed with an agent and things seems to be taking longer than desired? Another thought-agents are reluctant to try creative strategies because they're looking for that commission check. Thanks!
If it is a bad agent, then that might be something worth attempting. Most people hire agents though for a reason, and thats because they want buyers to deal with their agent instead of them. Whats really important is if you do go straight to the seller, that you do not attempt to interfere with the relationship between the seller and the agent. Also, for others who might be licensed, you can not attempt to bypass the agent.
