SCAM ALERT Possible SCAM
I would like to let people know of a possible SCAM that came my way today. I received a phone call from a "property owner" that acted like he was the seller in a wholesale transaction (apparently I was the wholesaler). He called me and told me he "got a loan for 100K and no longer needed to sale his property." He then immediately said "How much do I owe you so I can write you a check". To that I responded, "which property" and he gave me an address which I didn't recognize and then I said "I think you have the wrong number." All he said was "oh, ok" and then hung up.
For the record it was an Asian guy calling with an obvious accent that I would place as Vietnamese. He called from a suspicous 888 number and caller ID placed this call from Durham NC (I'm in Gastonia, NC).
Watch out to all the investors out there...We work to hard for our money to have someone scam us out of it!
