Inherited an unfinished home in the Colorado Mountains

Hi there,

I've recently inherited a home from my uncle that passed away and I'm not sure how to proceed with this.

I could either sell it as is. The entire exterior is finished, as well as a good portion on the foundation for the interior (walls without drywall).

Or, I can try and complete the build out and it would be finished within the next year.

I'm looking for advice on whether, I should just let it go as is, or build it out to get more equity into the home, but risk the market taking a dip between now and then, and possibly losing out on money that's been invested.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

@Alex Block I had to look it up on a map... not really what most Coloradans would consider a "mountain town". I appears to be somewhat close to Fort Collins. I would find a BP member who is a broker in Ft Collins and get a market analysis or broker price opinion for both options - it would be helpful if they had a good GC to help assess as well. The broker will be willing to help because you would offer them the listing - correct? With you being long distance I'm leaning towards the sell "as is" rather than try to supervise a project from afar...
