Under what name do you buy property if you don't use an LLC?

Under what exact name is everyone buying rental properties if you don't use an LLC or similar? What I mean is, I don't want my tenants to be able to look up my name and address. How is everyone handling that?

Btw: I am not looking at an LLC vs personal name comparison here.

@Simon Stahl

I don't think there is anyway around it. If you are not buying the property under an LLC then you are buying under your own name. I know for sure the mortgage company will not lend to you if you give them a name other than your own or the LLC its under.

I am also pretty sure even if you buy the property straight cash, the township or city will require you to give your real name for county and public records purposes.
