Need advice on conventional loan

Just getting started. Talked to my local bank today. They tell me I cannot get a conventional loan because it will be a rental. I have an LLC, which I understand the point for a commercial loan, but I asked about a conventional loan not using the LLC and they will not do it. How can I get around this?

@Chad J Muse You can refinance on individual name under conventional loan. You can use conventional loan up to 4 units only.
