Having A Duplex Built On Vacant Land For Sale

What's up BPeeps. I'm new here and already have soaked up a ton of info from a lot of you all and plan to be more active here and in my REI lifestyle. I'm just throwing this out there but has anyone bought a vacant lot and had a duplex built on the lot. How did you go about the process? Hard money, FHA to have property built and house hack or bought all together in one type of loan process and took off from there? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...
