Would it be wise to get my real estate license for buy and hold?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to go ahead and get a my real estate license so I could have access to all of the recourse that come with that. I am new and want to get into buy and hold so I am not sure if it would a wise decision or not?

Having a license isn't really necessary to invest, let alone in buy and holds. For flips, it would make more sense as you would save 3% on the sale, but you should be able to get by just fine on buy and holds without having a license. Ultimately it's nice to have but having a knowledgeable and hungry agent on your side will be just as beneficial.
