Splitting commission as realtor on investment purchases

Jamie Mathis
Posted

As a wannabe investor, I have been considering getting my RE license and have read tons of discussions here about pros and cons. Obviously as a seller can save a lot, but regarding buying- how does commission work then? I would have to disclose my realtor status but would I still have to split commission with broker? Could I take a discount from purchase price and not receive any commission?
