Tax Benefits of working full time as a Real Estate Investor??????

BP community, a big question I have is concerning the tax benefits for someone considered a "real estate professional," or someone that has the majority of their work or income dealing specifically with real estate.  Does this matter if you work more with flips vs rentals? I've heard there are additional tax benefits for someone in that setting. Does anyone know more about this? Thanks in advance for your responses!  Any good CPA recommendations would be appreciated!!
