Am interested in buying a property in Brisbane since Sydney and Melbourne seem too expensive for the moment, anyone have any recommendations for which suburbs or areas would be good?

With-in 6km of the city close to public transports and some shopping. I got a place on the Annerley/Moorooka border. You'll still be looking at around $300000 for 2bed/1bath apartment
