The Previous Owner Is Dead

Hi there,

So I am looking at properties in Birmingham, Alabama and many of them I am wanting to buy seem to be previously owned by currently deceased individuals. Because their children (I am assuming who now own it) have not paid property taxes on the properties nor live there, I can't find any substantive information on who to reach out too/mail. Any help on how to move forward? Thanks!

Jared
