Property in Fontana Near LA

Posted

I'm in escrow to buy a 4 unit property on about an acre of land. From what a developer told me I can add another 2 units to the property. Any thoughts on possible options to add units. I saw manufactured homes in the area that looked really nice and thought about just adding those or building an actual building. Let me know what you think

Hi Ernesto, You need to go to the City website and check the zoning map for that parcel.  If it's not zoned for more density, you need to go talk to the City and see if they will consider changing the zoning to allow you to add units.  Or maybe they will let you do a lot split and add another four-plex or more?  Good luck!
