Looking for Raleigh/ Durham Contractors

I have recently moved to Raleigh and I am in need of a good contractor. I have found several deals which I believe will have a reasonable spread, my issue has been that I have received some very high quotes from the contractors that I have spoken to. I suspect they are spending too much on their marketing and need to cover their overhead. If anyone is, or has, a contractor they can recommend I can offer them consistent work.
