What should I look for in a closing attorney?

Do their services really vary much?

I've used the same closing attorney since I bought my fist house in '83 and 30 or so times after that.  It was blind luck that I found him.  Here's what I like about him - responsive, always prepared, looks out for my best interests, competitive pricing, answers the phone when I call, makes the counterpart attorney do their jobs, tells me when something looks fishy, tells me when I'm being stupid.  I always pay cash and use an attorney.  He finds title stuff and survey issues I (or a lesser attorney) would never find in a hundred years.
