Tahoe / Donner area - investment property / rental

Hi - I'm interested in purchasing an investment / vacation rental property around in the Tahoe Donner area. Looking to connect with local realtors and start looking. 

Also curios if someone has experience purchasing MFR in this area - hardly any seem available. My idea is part rent / part use-it-myself so something as a duplex (or 2 units) would make it easier.
