Wholesale Real estate law

I currently have a potential property that I would like to close a deal on. The real estate agent is asking me for my lawyers info. Is it possible I can use their lawyer and provide the contract?

Not sure if I would have to pay the lawyer upfront to retain, that's y I was choosing to use theirs for the transaction. I already have a drafted contract which I will provide.

your probably in a lawyer closing state.. Like in South Carolina buyer has their own closing lawyer and seller has their own.. these law practices are really just title and escrow agents.. that are owned by and run by a lawyer per the laws of that state.   Also Il is big on buyer and seller lawyer .. very state specific.

out here in the left coast we NEVER would engage a lawyer for vanilla transactions its all handled by the agent and the national title and escrow company..  if you have a lawyer involved means something went wonky :)
