We expect to soon do a 1031 exchange. It will be our first one ever and don't know much of the details involved. We would appreciate recommendations of 1031 Qualified Intermediaries that have worked for you. We have heard that flips may not be eligible for a 1031. We'll be selling in Wisconsin and buying in Georgia. Is there an advantage to using a local QI? Thanks for your input.

Edo - Dave Foster is national.  I live in VT and he handles my commercial purchases in South Carolina even though he's out West somewhere.  Like most, I care less about where he lives and more about him picking up the phone.
