Becoming a home inspector (husband) and RE Agent (Wife)

Hello Bigger Pockets Forum! First time typer, long time reader.

My wife and I are starting our RE investing adventures and we are currently house hacking a property, doing most of the work. I have a background in construction and my wife has studied to become an agent in the past, but did not sit for the test. After listening to a BP podcast where the guest was a home inspector, I am thinking of becoming a certified home inspector (mostly for proper evaluation of property purchases for us). My wife is interested in getting her real estate license and becoming an agent. I would like to think that these would be GOOD things for our business.

What are some pro's and cons of this scenario? Are there any glaring conflicts of interest? Will this help our business or hurt it?
