@Cesar Ruiz what type of investments are you looking to get into? What is the driving factor behind Riverside, or Bakersfield? Personally, I think that Bakersfield has a great market for long term potential. If you think about a rising tide raising all ships, that is essentially the way that Bakersfield is positioned with the surrounding communities. On top of that, there is job growth to the area that will be sustainable into the future as well. There are many other factors as well that, in my opinion, provide Bakersfield as a good investment option to investors that I would be happy to go over if you would like! @Cesar Ruiz - Hi, welcome! I'm in Bakersfield, I'd be happy to connect and share info. The market is strong, we have new job growth, and affordable entry prices. There are great pockets of older and newer rentals, depending on what you are looking for!

@Cesar Ruiz Riverside city is very much pockets of different types of houses it is not like some cities where you can generalize "east side good, west side bad" In general though I prefer newer builds to the older ones or the more awkward 3bed 1 bath style.
