Hello All,

So I purchased my first multifamily home in NYC in 2018 and have done very well with it. Recently Ive been searching for what my next real estate investment might be when a friend approached me with a business idea. She has been in the manufacturing space for a long time and decided that she wanted to go into business for her self, and asked if I would like to secure the commercial property for her manufacturing plant. The idea intrigued me and I decided to sign on, however I am brand new to the commercial real estate space(which is fine I was once new to the residential real estate space as well). Any advice would be greatly appreciated, one answer I was attempting to find for my self now is how does one typically finance such an undertaking? what is does the insurance landscape look like for such an undertaking? Are there grants available to help with the purchase of property in a situation like this? Thank you
