Distressed Property Inquiry

Kevin Wilkins
Posted

I'm a newbie looking for my first purchase. I found what I believe to be an abandoned single family residence. I did some research on my local county tax assessor's site. I found the address and six names listed as owners. My question is this. What would be the best way to contact these folks about purchasing this home? Should I try to find a phone number or should I send a hand written note? What works best. I feel like a call would just get sent to voicemail but I'm afraid a letter would just end up in the trash. What has worked best for any of you in this situation? Thanks for the help.
