Joshua Tree - Water Main Extension Costs

Hi, I am looking at a property within Joshua tree.  The water main is 300 LF away. 

Will the water district allow me to have my contractor extend the water main and install the angle stop?  I know they will set the meter.  

If not and the water district has to do it then how much is it?
