Airbnb in the City of Miami

Hi! I'm not sure if anyone would be able to help with this, but my wife and I are potentially looking to buy our first home in the City of Miami near Coral Gables. The idea is to rent out the main house on Airbnb and live in the in law/ efficiency/ ADU, etc. We've been looking for 3-4 months and there is this house we really liked with 2 efficiencies in Miami. The issue with this house is that both efficiencies were built without permits. Does anyone know how this would affect us to get our STR license? I know that we need to pass an inspection in order to get our license to Airbnb, but will they check to see if everything has been built with permits? We would eventually get permits for everything and make sure everything is good, but we would need to Airbnb the house ASAP after closing.

I tried calling and emailing the City for them to help us, but know one has responded yet.

Thank you in advance!
