Upper East Side Manhattan NYC

Ben Lin
Posted

How's the current market in Manhattan, especially in Upper East Side? Someone forwarded a deal (condo) on East 60th St for $1,150/ foot (2 bed 2 bath condo, kind of low tax and low CC). The condo is liveable but needs total rehab. What do you Manhattan experts think? Appreciate your comment.

I live on the upper east side - 62nd and 2nd ave

A 2-bed / 2-bath at $1,150 has to be at least 1000 square feet. That will run you $1 million +

That area is great - close to central park, museums(kind of), and a lot of train stations(4,5,6, F, Q, N, R W).
The area is kind of quiet compared to other areas in Manhattan. It does have a little bit of stuff going on near 80's and 50's.
