Where to invest in New Jersey

I currently live in Brooklyn and am looking to get into real estate investing in New Jersey. I'm only familiar with South Jersey, so I was wondering what towns and cities in North Jersey might be worth investigating? 


I am new to real estate investing so advice at all would help!

I am a investor from Staten Island and I actively look in ocean county (Toms River, NJ). I am looking for a 3 bedroom + 1 bathroom with garage. Create your criteria and zone in on a location and keep searching. Don't give up.
