First time home owner program change of address for spouse

Hi All,

I recently bought a home in Vallejo, CA and landed a peculiar issue. Here are the fasts:

1. Mortgage loan is in my name only and I bought with the first time home owner program. I am married and the title will be in joint name.

2. I work in San Jose, currently remote.

3. My wife works in in Fremont as a property manager.  she has got a free manager's residence there as part of job. There is no obligation to stay in the evening/weekends, but if she stays, it helps in the occasional emergencies.
4. I have moved to the new home and work remote but plan to work from our office in San Francisco after remote. Max I can switch to a nearer job.

Now, I am filing the change of address with the post office. The confusion is if I change the address only for me OR for the family? OR, does my wife have to move to the home (because of the first time home buyer clause) ?. If needed, she can commute or switch the job, but the current job rocks and her manager is extremely happy.

How any of you handled this issue when both are working in two different cities, and one cannot move due to distance or any obligations etc?

Appreciate :)
