Do you think this article means $300/SF/year or month?

This is an article about a company called Thor Equities. They recently rented out two vacancies on one of their retail properties in Miami. The article says that asking rents were $300/SF. Do you think this means per year or per month? For example, Haagen-Dazs rented a 1,000 square foot space for this price. Is Haagen-Dazs paying $300,000/month or per year?

My guess is per year.
