I've been practicing real estate in the residential area since 2005. I'm going to make the move to the commercial real estate arena, specifically practicing to become a tenant rep on the buyers side. I've been researching and studying the ins and outs of the business, realizing it is something that will take a lot of work to start.
I thought it would be helpful to start a personal business plan to help guide me. Currently, I'm trying to find the best resources to get data on information, like the number of tenant reps in my area, etc. Does anyone know of a few good resources out there?
Any advice or help is appreciated.
If you are going to do that you have to be ALL IN and go work for a firm that focuses on tenant representation for commercial clients. This is NOT something you dabble in and in addition you will need specific intensive training for.
People can often make the mistake of trying to dabble in a few things (grass is always greener,etc.) It's usually better to stick with one thing and work at becoming a world class expert at it.
