hi

I am looking at a property that has had a long term tenent ( deisel automotive repair ) working on trucks in their unit as well as the surface lot. There is 1 catch basin on the surface lot for water control.   i suspect oil from the surface lot has been accumulating in this basin. What oil containment systems should my bank and i be looking for to make sure this oil is being properly controlled and not turning into an environmental problem.

Thank you

@Rich Hupper I’m not too knowledgeable about what the bank might require, but as part of your due diligence you would probably engage an environmental/engineering firm to conduct a Phase 1 environmental study. This would help determine the probability of contamination, and might lead to a more in depth and more conclusive Phase 2 study.
