What's the scoop on private storage facilities?
I see these everywhere and by all different companies . Are these usually franchises? Do you buy the raw land and they build but you own and manage? I'm just curious as I've heard these can be very lucrative, but are you giving a huge chunk to the storage companies themselves? Why aren't there just standalone, totally private facilities? They all seem to be chains.
