Right of redemption on a property on foreclosure purchase

Hallie Conway
Posted

I recently bought a property that was a foreclosure-I did not purchase as a foreclosure but bought from a flipper. The one year mark is October 25th from when the flipper purchased and I just received a letter yesterday saying the previous owners wanted to redeem the property and we have 10 days to send a letter listing our debts. Has anyone else experienced this and would be willing to talk about the outcome? Do you know of an attorney who specialized in foreclosures in the Baldwin county area? How do I handle this with the tenants living there now? Thank you!
