I'm wondering if a title search will show me all the outstanding liens.

Of course, that is what title co's do, but why are you asking the liens are not your concern ?

Hi Bob, I'm researching for tax default auction homes.

what state are you researching in every state is different to a certain extent.  But generally speaking tax DEED auctions no need to really run title tax sale wipes everything out except IRS liens and they never redeem and if they do they owe you what U bid plus interest.  tax cert states much harder
