Hi

Any advise as to where I can locate lists for probate and preforclosure properties in northern New Jersey, mainly Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex, and maybe Hudson.

Also whats the process for obtaining them? (wait time, cost, applications?)

Also any other types of deals out there that are on a list such as these? (not including the multi-criteria direct mail type listing)

Many Thanks !!

Hi @Jasmine Cotes

What a great q, looks like its still relevant after 3 years as I was also thinking where to get the list and what is the process for my education and see if it is something I can handle.

Any chance you can share what are your thoughts, hope you were able to figure out answer yourself?

Thanks

Sumeet

I'm not qualified to know if any lists exist for probate but, there is no such thing as a preforeclosure list. It's an urban legend or, its a list of a bunch of properties/people that someone created with a bunch of assumptions. "Pre" foreclosure means different things to different people. To some, it's the default period prior to an actual foreclosure sale. To some, it's the first legal filing prior to foreclosure sale. To most, its a delinquent borrower that is about to lose their home to foreclosure if they don't bring their loan current by some means, by some date, and if that is the definition you are using, that information is not publicly available in any "list" outside of a credit report, that you don't have access to, and neither does anyone purporting to provide you said list.
