Good evening BP'ers, I have a potential client that has a property in the Bronx(NY) that has been sitting in foreclosure for close to six years and the client wants to set-up a short-sale for the property in order to be in the clear of any debt and potentially make some money in return. As being a potential RE agent of there's, what are the possibilities of conducting this type of transaction and the steps required to make it as smooth sailing as possible? "Short sale attorneys" are the worst at getting short sales done.  Unfortunately, you don't know enough to know if your "specialist" is doing it right.  I hope it works out.
