Judicial foreclosure in CA

As I understand the process,  as the lender when you win the foreclosure suit you get a Judgment of Foreclosure. The next step is a Sheriff Sale.

If I don't conduct a sheriff's sale, do I get title as part of the Judgment of Foreclosure or is there some further action required?

Does anyone have a referral t site that describes this process in detail for CA?
