Commercial Multifamily Broker search
Greetings all, I am an up and coming GP investor in apartment syndication. My partners and I are looking to expand into the Columbia SC, North Charleston SC, Durham NC, and Fayetteville NC markets. We are looking for an up and coming listing broker in these markets to create a relationship with and do deals with. We would like to do 2-3 deals in the next year. Some things we are looking for are value add B to C class properties, in the area of 100 units, and looking to hold 3-5 years. @Marquis Cobb, I recommend you read the book "Multifamily Investors Who Dominate" by Beau Beery. It is an excellent read on developing relationships with brokers.

Are y'all looking for a listing broker to get one-off deals from when they have them, or a commercial broker who has visibility into all deals and can help y'all transact on them as your "buyers agent"? They can overlap, but seems like y'all are in acquisition mode right now and not looking to "list" your properties.

Yes that is correct, we are in acquisitions mode and we would like to build a relationship first before make someone our main commercial broker
