multi-property package deal structure

Andrew Tyrrell
Posted

Looking for advice on structuring a three-property multifamily package with two investors.

The package includes two duplexes and a triplex for a total of seven units plus a buildable vacant lot adjoining one of the duplexes.

Sale price for the package is $350k. Local credit union will finance the multi-property package with 20-25% downpayment and I have two investors helping me cover the roughly $90k for downpayment and closing costs.

I am looking for advice on how to structure the deal with my investors and divide the equity, cash flow and ownership.

Appreciate any insight or experience anyone can share. Thanks!

@Andrew Tyrrell form an LLC with 3 members would simplify matters. Run all income and expenses in the LLC. All the best!
