I'm extremely new to real estate, so please be kind if this is a silly question.  Other than CoStar, City Hall, or calling each and every broker in town, are there any cost effective ways to research recently sold properties in the market I am focusing on?  I'm trying to get a handle on the local cap rates, price per unit, etc.  Thanks for any help.
