Internet/Smart phone based intercom system

Hi - does anyone know of an Internet based intercom system. I have a 14 unit building and tenants can't get packages. I feel like there must be a company that makes an app or technology for smart phones where someone (like UPS or FedEx) can call you and you can unlock an entry door from a distance. Much thanks!

Are you saying you want an intercom to go to their phones? There are plenty that do that. I know of a guy that simply gets a VOIP line to run the intercom and the "Phone calls" go out that way to the tenants' phones.

I think he said the company that installed the security cameras also did this install. He said they used VOIP as tenants move from all over and keep their cell phone. A landline based line from his end would gobble up long distance fees.

Not sure I am giving an accurate answer, but I know he enters their cell number, someone comes to the door finds their name in intercom and it dials their cell phone. They hit a button on their phone and the front door buzzes.
