Any recommendations on books on Apartment complex investing
These should be enough to get you started:
I'll add to that list the below book
https://www.amazon.com/Crushing-Apartments-Commerc... by Brian Murray
He was the guest to 2 podcast episodes on BP.
Check it out http://www.podinformer.com/#!?query=%22Brian%20Mur...
Ken McElroy also has 2 great books to check out. ABC's of Real Estate and Advance ABC's of Real Estate
The Perfect Investment by Paul Moore.
Yep, Paul Moore’s article is a good one.
@Scott Blevins , after you read those books, there's also about 15 episodes of the BP podcast deal with large multifamily deals. Definitely worth a listen to.
Ken McElroy is great. Look up Dave Lindahl's books. Paul Moore & Michael Blank also have great content
@Scott Blevins The books I found most useful are:
http://amzn.to/2CdXrl7: Commercial Real Estate for Dummies - Peter Harris and Peter Conti
http://amzn.to/2Hb2PJc: Crushing it in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate - How a small investor can make it big - Brian H Murray
http://amzn.to/2EWXBjK: The Due Diligence Handbook For Commercial Real Estate: A Proven System To Save Time, Money, Headaches And Create Value When Buying Commercial Real Estate - Brian Hennessey
Thanks for the mention!! Follow the three step framework!
+1 on the content and podcasts you will find on the websites of @Gino Barbaro and @Michael Blank . Books are great but I find the content to be shallow and repetitive. The first two I read were foundational, after that I found just a nugget or two of information in each book. You will find a lot more specific and practical information on these two websites.
